The George Barley Water Prize Announces New Partnerships for Clean Water

On March 22nd World Water Day, the Everglades Foundation announced two new international partnerships for the George Barley Water Prize at the inaugural White House Water Summit.

Working with the Ontario Ministry of Environment and Climate Change and water technology company Xylem, the Everglades Foundation’s $10 million George Barley Water Prize aims to find a viable and cost-effective solution to combat phosphorus pollution in freshwater bodies, both in Lake Okeechobee and other threatened waterways across the world.
