The Ramos boys are back and are even more dedicated to the restoration and preservation of the Florida Everglades; and, as they have in previous years, they are very motivated to educate and encourage young people to advocate for our one-of-a-kind national treasure.
Along with their family, friends and classmates, the Ramos boys also have The Everglades Foundation and Zoo Miami in their corner to help them continue this amazing cause and educate people about the Florida Everglades!
Please join them on Earth Day, April 22, 2017, for a family fun day at Zoo Miami. The event will run from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. and will feature interactive learning and activity stations dispersed throughout the zoo, offering fun and educational opportunities on an array of environmental and conservation topics, and a panel discussion where kids can ask questions and enter into discussions with leading South Florida scientists and environmental professionals.
All participants will not only receive a medal, t-shirt and goody bag, but will also be automatically registered for the raffle and a chance to win prizes.
Further, participants that raise $50 for the cause get free admission to the zoo, participants that raise $60 for the Everglades can bring an adult for free and participants that raise at least $75 for conservation may bring a family of four in for no charge.
