America's Everglades Summit

The first-ever America’s Everglades Summit, scheduled for May 19 and May 20 in Washington, D.C., is a landmark event designed to generate political support among lawmakers for restoration of America’s Everglades and further raise the profile of its ecological and economic impact.

Participants will include business, environmental and community leaders from across the country who will provide a first-hand account of the importance of this national treasure’s impact on the regional quality of life, economy and environmental sustainability. The goals are simple, increase the annual funding stream for Everglades restoration projects and focus national attention on Everglades restoration successes in an attempt to sustain current commitments.
