New Position Available – Environmental Engineer - Everglades Foundation
 
The Everglades Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to the restoration of America’s Everglades, has an outstanding career opportunity in environmental sciences for a recent graduate (or someone nearing completion of their degree) in engineering or physical science and possessing an interest in working a variety of challenging topics related to environmental restoration.
 
The Everglades Foundation is looking for someone that:
•   possesses a Master’s degree in environmental engineering or a closely-related field.
•   is keenly interested in environmental modeling and data analyses.
•   is familiar with a variety of computer platforms and analysis tools, and willing to learn  new ones. Knowledge of statistics and GIS is an asset.
•   is willing to work with experienced Ph.D.-level scientists on problems that combine aquatic chemistry, hydrology, engineering, and ecology.
•   can offer a demonstration of their excellent communications skills.
