A special thank you to the City of Doral and Councilmember Rafael Pineyro for the presentation honoring our speakers for their commitment to the Everglades ecosystem!

The impacts of an altered Everglades ecosystem can be felt across the state. From algae blooms on the west coast affecting real estate, scuba divers seeing the impacts of Lake Okeechobee discharges in the estuaries, and fishing charters not being able to sustain their business, these #EvergladesStories remind us what’s at stake and how we all need clean water. Our Education Team had a great Southwest Florida road tour recently as they visited with current and future Everglades Champion Schools, participated in Earth Day events, and hosted an outdoor professional development at Audubon Of Florida's Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary.
