Anna Upton, Esq.
General Counsel & Vice President of Government Affairs
As The Everglades Foundation’s General Counsel and Vice President of Government Affairs, Anna Upton oversees all legal services to the Foundation and provides strategic guidance on a comprehensive range of issues involved in carrying out the Foundation’s mission. She also serves as the organization’s top government relations executive with responsibility for planning and leading the organization’s comprehensive policy program.
Previously, she provided legal representation in Florida for a variety of different issues through her own practice, and prior to that, with Rumberger, Kirk & Caldwell.
Anna earned a B.A. in Political Science from Wake Forest University, and a J.D. from Stetson University College of Law. She is a member of the Florida Bar and has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in environmental litigation multiple years. Anna was appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis in May 2021 to the Northwest Florida Water Management District Governing Board. She lives with her husband and daughter in Tallahassee, Fla.
