George Barley Water Prize Featured on NBC Nightly News

The George Barley Water Prize made its national debut in August 2017 with this special edition of NBC Nightly News. Alongside our presenting sponsors, Scotts Miracle-Gro Foundation, we discussed the nutrient pollution  plaguing freshwater bodies around the world, and what we’re doing to solve this global crisis.

Eric Eikenberg, The Everglades Foundation's CEO, is in a blue jacket outdoors, with a thoughtful expression, barren trees in background. Text: "$10 million prize for team that solves water runoff program."
