As The Everglades Foundation’s Director of Development in Southwest Florida, Chelsea Klotz leads development efforts in the region, building and managing relationships with individual donors, grantmaking foundations, and corporate partners. Her work helps to grow the Foundation’s donor base, and support major gift cultivation and stewardship.
Chelsea has built an impactful career in the nonprofit sector, most recently serving with the Collier Community Foundation, where she helped increase donor engagement, strengthen charitable investment, and support meaningful community impact across Southwest Florida.
In addition to her professional experience, Chelsea is an avid outdoorswoman, certified divemaster, angler, and lifelong water enthusiast. Through frequent visits to Florida from childhood on, she developed a strong connection to its coastal environments and diverse ecosystems, ultimately choosing to make Southwest Florida her home. Her personal connection to Florida's waterways and wildlife fuels her passion for conservation and makes The Everglades Foundation's mission particularly meaningful.
As a mother, Chelsea is committed to ensuring that future generations have the opportunity to experience and appreciate the same natural wonders that have shaped her own love for the outdoors, recognizing the critical importance of protecting the Everglades and Florida's ecosystems for the future.
