Shannon Trivino was born in Baltimore, Maryland and moved to Palm Coast, Florida as a teenager. After graduating from the University of Central Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, she has spent her career in administrative roles in companies such as Ocean Hammock Resort, The Club at Hammock Beach, Alcoa, Inc., and Amec Foster Wheeler Environment & Infrastructure. Shannon joined the Everglades Foundation in 2015 as Director of Administration and has recently moved into the role of Director of Board Relations, where she serves as liaison, facilitating communication between Board and staff, and coordinates Board events.

After spending three years in the Miami area, Shannon and her husband Carlos relocated to Asheville, North Carolina for Carlos’ Information Technology job with the National Park Service. Shannon continues to work remotely for the Foundation, frequently visiting the Palmetto Bay offices and attending Board meetings and events. Shannon is an animal lover and enjoys cooking, bicycling, reading, and exploring downtown Asheville’s local markets, craft breweries, and music scene
