Foundation joins national park and government officials to celebrate the new Everglades facility – a public access point to Chokoloskee Bay and the Ten Thousand Islands.
This level of funding will ensure that the momentous progress the state of Florida has made on restoring America’s Everglades will continue, so that Floridians and our economy can realize its benefits.
With this project, Biscayne Bay and Biscayne National Park will see major benefits as habitats formerly flooded with saltwater are rapidly transitioning back to a freshwater system.
The short documentary follows National Geographic photographer Mac Stone in a quest to capture elusive moments and unique wildlife throughout the Everglades.
