The Everglades Foundation commends the House of Representatives for its allocation of $425 million to advance the restoration of America's Everglades in the recently passed Fiscal Year 2024 Energy and Water appropriations bill. We eagerly await the enactment of this funding amount into public law for FY24, which will enable the continuous progression of critical restoration projects such as the Central Everglades Planning Project (CEPP) and the Everglades Agricultural Area (EAA) Reservoir.
