Everglades Foundation supports Gov. Rick Scott’s proposed spending for Everglades restoration

Statement from Everglades Foundation CEO, Eric Eikenberg:

“We thank Gov. Rick Scott for his proposed budget for restoring America’s Everglades. We strongly support his recommendation to provide $60 million for Everglades restoration.

“We appreciate the governor’s commitment to Everglades restoration and we believe the Florida Legislature will more than match his recommendation. We look forward to working with Gov. Scott and the Legislature during the upcoming session to ensure that this funding proposal moves forward.”
