We recently announced a new partnership with the Palm Beach Civic Association (PBCA) for 2016, and we are thrilled to be working together to educate and promote an ecologically and economically sustainable Everglades ecosystem.
The non-profit Palm Beach Civic Association was founded in 1944 by a handful of civic minded Palm Beachers who wished to preserve, protect and enhance the special qualities of their amazing island. Led by current chairman and CEO Bob Wright, the membership has grown to well over 2,000 men and women with a prestigious board of 130 directors and more than 90 Palm Beach businesses.
“The Everglades Foundation is committed to protecting one of our great local treasures, an ecosystem that supplies water to the region, and a foundation with a mission that aligns closely with our charter to protect and enhance the special quality of life in the Town of Palm Beach,” explains Bob Wright, chairman and CEO of PBCA. “We look forward to working with the Everglades Foundation as we continue to take proactive stands on civic affairs and promote greater citizen involvement in the community.”
