The Everglades Foundation is launching a 12-city bus tour to promote policies support for Everglades restoration. The group says the tour will focus on increasing water storage south of Lake Okeechobee to reduce discharges to coastal estuaries. The group says the project was part of the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan passed by the state and federal governments in 2000.
