Located in Florida, the Everglades is one of the largest wetlands in the world - spanning 1.5 million acres. But it was once nearly twice that size before canals and dams altered its landscape. Meet the scientists and engineers bringing back its natural flow.


As part of their Call to the Earth series, CNN spoke with our team, U.S. Army Engineers, and the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD), in three videos about the largest ecological restoration project in the world.
