The Everglades Foundation welcomes Donna Hall to Board of Directors


“Donna Hall is a highly regarded leader whose talents have been recognized by many organizations in Florida, Kentucky and Washington, D.C.,” said Carlos de la Cruz Jr., who chairs The Everglades Foundation’s board. “We are fortunate to enlist her services and eager to work with her.”


Ms. Hall holds a degree in secondary education from the University of Georgia. She serves on the National Committee for the Performing Arts of the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. and on numerous boards including the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center Board of Overseers; the Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence; the Headley-Whitney Museum of Art; the Kentucky Center for the Arts; and the Naples Botanical Gardens.


She is the former chair of the Governor’s School for the Arts Advisory Council and the Gaines Center for the Humanities at the University of Kentucky. She is Director Emeritus of the Kentucky Art and Craft Foundation and the Huntington Museum of Art.

She is the recipient of the Eagle Award of the Conservancy of Southwest Florida, the W.T. Young Lifetime Achievement Award by Commerce Lexington and the Kentucky Governor’s Award in the Arts.


She and her husband, John, live in Naples, Florida and in Lexington, Kentucky.
