February 15th, 2019. Palmetto Bay, Fla. — The Everglades Foundation CEO Eric Eikenberg today issued the following statement regarding Governor Ron DeSantis’ decision to appoint Noah Valenstein to lead the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.

“We applaud Governor Ron DeSantis’ decision to appoint Noah Valenstein to this crucial position. Secretary Valenstein understands the critical link between cleaning up our water and the economic viability of our state.
